Scratchpad

There is no built in audio.  Neither is there a built in bluetooth chip. If USB host mode is enabled, would it be possible to use a usb BT dongle? If so, do I need to include the Bluetooth components in the Android build even though the chip is not on the mobo?

Batch convert icons / widgets to greyscale before build or create an android theme suitable to the greyscale screen?

Regular build of "Vanilla Android" is not rooted and missing some things like market.  cyanogen mod build or modify android source or what?

Running off the SD card may help avoid bricking the nook. Not really sure of other pluses and minuses...

I wonder if I could build in swapfile function; so purchase / install of software after install not necessary??

Notes on Porting Android to Devices:
